dope dope dope

'Woohoo', another song from Christina's new album, its a club banger for sure. Its hot and waay over the top. I'm seriously loving her new stuff. This song is produced by Polow da don. He's behind London Bridge, Love in this club, Turnin me on by Keri hilson, and Rich boy's Throw some d's, which were also dope tracks. Featuring Nicki minaj (who I'm also starting to like).

Can't wait to hear the Peaches track.

Hot hot hot

Perez just revealed Christina Aguilera's new video for Not Myself Tonight. He thinks it's a direct rip off of Lady gaga. She does have that futuristic-gaga style going on but a lot of people be rocking Lady gaga's fashions.

People have also been shocked at how raunchy Xtina is but she's always been that way. Three words: get over it. It's hot, enjoy!

mother

It's mother's day soon. Is it a co-incidence that I just heard Christina Aguilera's cover of Mother by John Lennon? I like it, it's moody and good listening. It's off the Save Darfur record.

Christina's got a new album out asap by the way. 'Not myself tonight' is Not my favourite. But I'll admit I am anticipating the video. A few snippets have been released and it looks very sexual with lingerie, grinding and girl on girl action, the way Xtina likes it.

Anyways, I bought my mum a toaster. What are you guys doing for mother's day?

Play me

Been busy this week with work and school. But some music I've been listening to has taken me over lately.

Rihanna 'Photographs' featuring Will.i.am from her new album Rated R - it got average reviews but I've listened to it a bit more and there's definitely good tracks there. Rihanna's kind of a bad ass on some of them, its hot.

'Big Jet Plane' off the new Angus & julia stone album. I'm getting more into these 2 the more I hear of them.

Peter, Bjorn And John 'Objects of my affection'. These are the guys who did the 'we don't care about the young folks, talkin bout the young style' song. This ones a bit different to that but equally good, from an album in 2006.

Last one...

Deftones 'Ghosts' a David Sylvian cover from their new album Diamond eyes. This song is ri-dic-u-lous. Love that it's something different from these guys. I haven't heard Chino sing this way a lot and I like it.

Date Night movie review

Just saw Date Night last night and I must say I was pleasantly surprised. I really didn't know what to expect, I guess you could say I had no expectations. I mean I love Steve Carell, when he's funny, he's funny. Same goes for Tina Fey. You just never know with movies these days.

In the first 15 minutes, I could see it going either way. But it was good, really good. It had me laughing out loud. At one point I couldn't stop laughing. The soundtrack should be good too if they get it right.

Here's one song that stood out, it's by Cee-Lo (from Gnarls Barkley) called 'Love Gun'. It hasn't been released yet though so it's only a shitty quality capture that someone took in the movie theatre I guess.
